Diogu asks Nigerians to rally around D'Tigers

Captain and leader of the Nigerian basketball team, Ike Diogu, has called on Nigerians to rally around the D'Tigers in their push for Qualification for the FIBA world cup in China. Diogu who spoke at the press conference after contributing 21 points to Nigeria's 93 in their 40  point win over Mali asked Nigerians to get behind the team the same way they supported the Super Eagles during their World Cup campaign. Nigeria registered a 3/3 performance in this qualifier stage in Lagos, beating Uganda, Rwanda and Mali. The team will look forward to more of the same in September at the next stage of the qualifiers.
